Release Time:2022-05-13 Author:EMAN Technology Views:2431

On May 1 of this year, the newly revised Vocational Education Law of the People's Republic of China officially went into effect. This marks the first major revision in 26 years, capturing significant public attention. The National Vocational Education Activity Week, held from May 8 to 14, included the extensive promotion of the new vocational education law as a key focus.

To effectively facilitate the study, publicity, and implementation of the newly revised vocational education law, a symposium on the implementation of the new vocational education law in Hubei Province was held on May 9 at Wuhan City Polytechnic. Vice Governor Xiao Juhua attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Representatives from the Provincial People's Congress, relevant provincial departments, the Provincial Chinese Vocational Education Society, Wuhan Municipal Government, vocational colleges, and enterprises participated in the symposium to listen to suggestions and discuss how to promote the high-quality development of vocational education in Hubei.

Before the meeting, Vice Governor Xiao Juhua and her team inspected and researched the state of the Intelligent Manufacturing Training Center of the School of Electromechanical Engineering at Wuhan City Polytechnic. They fully affirmed the educational and teaching work of Wuhan City Polytechnic. She emphasized the need to raise awareness and deeply understand the significance of the revisions to the vocational education law. It's important to seize the opportunities presented by the implementation of the new vocational education law to accelerate the high-quality development of vocational education in the province, accelerate the construction of a modern vocational education system, improve the diversified schooling structure, deepen industry-education integration and school-enterprise cooperation, and make every effort to enhance the quality of existing vocational schools. Additionally, there should be a further strengthening of publicity and learning to create a favorable atmosphere for the development of vocational education.

At the Symposium

The "Intelligent Manufacturing Industry-Education Complex" and other school-enterprise cooperation achievements co-built by EMAN and Wuhan City Polytechnic were thoroughly examined by leaders at all levels during their visit to the Intelligent Manufacturing Training Center at the School of Electromechanical Engineering. The Intelligent Manufacturing Industry-Education Complex project, a collaborative effort between Wuhan City Polytechnic and EMAN, aims to cultivate highly skilled professionals in modern manufacturing to support the transformation and upgrading of the high-end equipment manufacturing industry. The complex encompasses various disciplines and educational functions, including mechanical manufacturing (CNC machining), electromechanical technology, robot control technology, systems, and network communication technology, making it a comprehensive intelligent manufacturing production line.

EMAN and Wuhan City Polytechnic began their school-enterprise cooperation in 2016. After several years of development and exploration, this collaboration, characterized by a school-enterprise cooperation and industry-education integration model, has yielded positive practical results and has become a representative example of a typical school-enterprise cooperation model.

01
Modern Apprenticeship Pilot Base

Wuhan City Polytechnic, leveraging EMAN, collaborates with leading upstream and downstream enterprises in the industry to develop an apprenticeship joint training "1+N" model: one school and multiple enterprises (N) work together to create customized apprenticeship joint training pilot bases according to the characteristics of specific professions and industries.

02
EMAN Technology Order-Based Class

Wuhan City Polytechnic, in collaboration with EMAN and other enterprises, leverages "order-based classes" to align corporate staffing needs with the college's skilled talent cultivation goals, effectively bridging the "last mile" to high-quality employment for students.

03
Teacher Residency Workstation

EMAN has established a teacher residency training workstation for Wuhan City Polytechnic, encouraging teachers to take turns residing at the enterprise to enhance their skill levels. This initiative aims to strengthen the combination of practical skills and theoretical knowledge, thereby cultivating a team of teachers who possess both teaching and practical abilities. This effort truly opens the channel for school-enterprise cooperation, promotes the integration of industry, academia, research, and application, and deepens the cultivation of multi-skilled technical talents.

04
Skills Competition Promotion Center

EMAN supports Wuhan City Polytechnic in establishing a Skills Competition Promotion Center, which is equipped with a core team of guiding teachers. This team studies competition rules and scientifically develops training plans, aiming to "promote learning through competition and enhance teaching through competition." The goal is to cultivate students' technical practical abilities and innovative spirit, thereby improving their professional quality and employability. To further encourage learning through awards, EMAN has also established the Endeavor Award Scholarship at Wuhan City Polytechnic. This initiative aims to collaborate with the college to motivate students to excel in academic performance, professional skills, innovation capabilities, and overall quality, nurturing them into modern artisans of excellence.

05
EMAN Central China Regional Experience Demonstration Center

In collaboration with Wuhan City Polytechnic, EMAN has co-established an Intelligent Manufacturing Experience Demonstration Center through a school-enterprise partnership to jointly cultivate high-quality professional technical talents. Additionally, the demonstration center serves as a venue to attract manufacturing enterprises to visit and conduct assessments, building a bridge for communication between the school and enterprises. This initiative aims to promote the sharing of high-quality resources between educational institutions and businesses, guiding more enterprises to deepen industry-academia cooperation with the school.

06
1+X Certificate Assessment Site

To build a diversified educational structure and effectively enhance the quality of talent cultivation and professional certification, EMAN is piloting the "Digital Design of Stamping Dies" vocational skill level certificate at Wuhan City Polytechnic. This initiative aims to promote the integration and interconnectivity of job responsibilities, coursework, competitions, and certifications.

EMAN has consistently advanced industry-education integration and school-enterprise cooperation over the years, actively addressing talent needs and development by leveraging its 16 years of experience in the intelligent manufacturing industry. Up to now, EMAN has engaged in deep school-enterprise partnerships with nearly 100 institutions nationwide, including Wuhan City Vocational College, Wuhan Polytechnic, Jiangsu Vocational Institute of Commerce, Shaanxi Polytechnic Institute, and Henan University of Technology (in no particular order). These partnerships have actively implemented reforms in talent cultivation models, such as the modern apprenticeship system and the "1+X" certificate system, and EMAN has frequently provided technical support to the National Vocational College Skills Competition as a co-organizer.

The newly revised Vocational Education Law explicitly recognizes vocational education as an education type with equal importance to general education, defining the strategic status, era mission, and development direction of vocational education, placing it in an unprecedented position. In the future, EMAN will continue to explore actively in the field of industry-education integration, playing a positive role in the operation and deepening of reforms in vocational and higher education institutions. EMAN aims to create more exemplary cases of high-quality industry-education integration in school-enterprise cooperation, building a community of shared destiny between schools and enterprises. The company will work hand in hand to cultivate high-quality technical talents, skilled artisans, and master craftsmen, thereby promoting high-quality development in the manufacturing industry.
