On November 19, the 2024 China 5G + Industrial Internet Conference, jointly hosted by the News and Publicity Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Wuhan Municipal Government, opened at the China Optics Valley Convention & Exhibition Center. Wang Zhonglin, Deputy Party Secretary and Governor of Hubei Province; Zhang Yunming, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology; and Chen Ronghui, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the National Data Administration, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches. Sun Yuechun, Deputy Secretary of the Wuhan Municipal Committee and Mayor of Wuhan, introduced relevant information about Wuhan City. Cheng Yongwen, Vice Mayor of Hubei Province, presided over the opening ceremony.

The theme of this year's conference is “Integration of Reality and Data, Pioneering Intelligent Manufacturing,” focusing on showcasing achievements and facilitating discussions and exchanges in areas such as the integration and application of industrial internet, artificial intelligence, intelligent connected vehicles, and the low-altitude economy. Industrial software is considered the soul of the industry.
